| How does EFT work?
-
An analogy for EFT is to think of a TV that
is not tuned properly. You may see a picture but it is covered
with disturbance in the signal. The disturbance in a TV is like
our emotions such as anxiety, depression, traumatic memories,
heartache, anger, etc.
-
During phone sessions, clients are coached to tune into the specific
emotional, physical or mental issue (the disruption), while following
a tapping routine using their fingertips. (See diagram below).
An important link is created between the mind and body whereby
a chain reaction to facilitate a release of the problem is produced.
-
For each problem, the whole process can takes less than 5 minutes.
Clients suffering from PTSD can experience dramatic relief in as
few as 3 sessions.

1. THE
SETUP PHRASE...
An acknowledgement of the problem and an acceptance of the self.
Repeat this affirmation 3 times:
“Even though I have this problem I deeply
and completely accept myself” while continuously rubbing the Sore
Spot (SS)
or Tapping the Karate Chop (KC) Point. |


2. THE
SEQUENCE...
The reminder phrase: Helps maintain focus on the issue being
treated.
“This problem” Repeat reminder phrase while tapping on
each of the following points 7 times:
EB, SE, UE, UN, CH, CB, UA, BN, TH, IF, MF, BF, KC |

3. THE
9 GAMUT PROCEDURE...
Continuously tap on the Gamut point (GP)
while performing each of these 9 actions:
1. Eyes closed 2. Eyes
open 3. Eyes hard down right 4. Eyes
hard down left 5. Roll eyes in circle 6. Roll
eyes in other direction 7. Hum 2 seconds
of a song 8. Count to 5 9. Hum
2 seconds of a song. |

4. THE SEQUENCE...
Repeat The Sequence and reminder phrase while tapping on each of the following
points 7 times:
EB, SE, UE, UN, CH, CB, UA, BN, Th, IF, MF, BF, KC
Take a deep breath, and let go. Repeat if necessary. |
